Why Create this Project?

I started my portrait studio as a way to help women feel the way I wanted to feel - beautiful & seen. When I turned 40  I found myself worn down, lost and unsure of where I stood in the world. As I worked with women I found there are many of us feeling this way.

I also discovered, that while speaking with these women there was an undying fire and beauty they each possess.

There was a beauty from It came from somewhere deep inside. Again and again I noticed it was a reflection of a life lived: their failures & successes, their experiences both good & bad. 

​

I soon discovered the beauty I captured in photographs was  finely ripened spirit that possessed BEAUTY, WISDOM & FEROCITY. 

​

I also noticed our media does not feature this... so I decided it was time we changed that! My goal for this year is to shatter the stigma around aging and show the world that beauty after 40 is something WILD & WONDERFUL & FOREVER FIERCE.

This session will cost $220 (a $370 value) and include:

• Style & wardrobe consultation with me do discuss how you want to be photographed

• Hair & makeup

• A fully guided professional photoshoot 

• Up to 3 hours for your session

• A guided ordering session where you'll see all your beautiful prints & you choose how many more you'd like to purchase.

• Your photos and story captured & told.

• The opportunity to leave behind a beautiful legacy for your children, grandkids & the many other women.

• An interview with me after the shoot where you'll share your views about aging and beauty (it may include video).

How is it Showcased?

You will be showcased in a beautiful art showcase. During this showing, your story is told and celebrated. You and 49 other women will get to experience seeing yourselves the way so many others see you.
