FIRST, thank you for making it this far. I'm assuming you love my work but still have a few questions about how this works. LUCKY YOU, I know the answers... or at least I think I do. Here are a few questions I get asked a lot:
THE PICTURES ARE AMAZING BUT HOW MUCH IS IT GONNA COST & WHY 2 FEES?
WHAT IS A SESSION FEE & WHAT DO I GET?
This fee is paid to retain my time & talent as a photographer and space on my studio calendar. In return, I turn away any other potential business during the time you've requested. For more details, look up pricing.

In return, this fee entitles you to a one on one consultation where we will sit down and plan your dream shoot. We will decide on a look, feel and theme for your time in studio with me.
You will also granted up to 3 hours in my studio for your shoot.
CAN I COME IN TOMORROW FOR A SHOOT?
It takes time to plan your shoot and to ensure that everything is customized to who you are. Here is some more information about the process.
I'M UNCOMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA, DO YOU KNOW HOW TO HELP?
Of course I do, its one of many reasons why I'm a professional at this.
I'll let you in on a secret, I too get a little awkward in front of the camera at first. I completely understand it takes time to warm up. We have tons of time to work, don't worry about it. Some major concerns are listed below:
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
No need to worry about this. Working with me means you are not alone. I will walk you through what looks best on camera and where you can go to get what you need. I will offer suggestions of wonderful places that have the outfits you need here in the area and online.

Don't feel pressured to buy anything for your session though. There are many ways to beg, borrow and "steal" your way to a fabulous outfit. I have lots of wraps and material that can make an outfit sparkle on camera. I can even make you your own dress for the shoot. This is all part of the planning process.
WHAT IF I STILL HAVE WEIGHT TO LOSE?
Don't let that be a reason to rob yourself of an amazing experience. This is a gift you can give to yourself and your loved ones. Don't weight for perfection. Your loved ones will appreciate a gorgeous picture of you no matter what size you are - its YOU they will miss someday and it is this picture of you they will treasure.

Honestly, look back at pictures of you have of yourself from 10 or 15 years ago. You probably thought you were in need of some changes back then as well - I know I did. Now, when I look at that girl, I see someone who was gorgeous - I don't see the issues I had then. Don't cheat your future self out of the chance to love the amazing person you are now.

I promise you won't regret it; Besides, if you absolutely hate your pictures there is always the delete button. Just do it!
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE, CAN YOU HELP?
Once again, this is why I'm a professional. I've trained with some of the best photographers in the world on posing.

I know how the camera lens warps the body. I also know how to pose you so that you look the way you look in real life. Part of the reason people think they don't look good on camera is because the camera lies. I can fix that. Come give it a try.
ARE MY GLASSES A PROBLEM?
Yes and No. Read on to see why...
I HAVE TRANSITION LENSES, IS THAT OKAY?
No, unfortunately they will not work. ​

As much magic that I can create in photoshop (and it is a lot) I can't create something out of nothing. Please consider wearing a regular pair of glasses, contacts or nothing. As they say your eyes are the window to your soul, I wanna see your soul!
CAN I KEEP MY GLASSES ON?
Sure! I only ask that you make sure there is an anti-glare coating over your lenses. Reflections interfere with being able to see your beautiful eyes.
CAN I ORDER ONLINE?
I do offer an online ordering session where I walk you through the images and give you my advice on what fits best within what you desire to fit within your budget and decor.

There are tons of options out there for decor and I know how confusing it can be. I want to ensure you are happy with what you order and that it fits into your home's decor.

When working with me, this is what you can expect.
DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes & no.

I do not accept payment plans for session fees, it must be paid in full before your session may be reserved.

Yes, payment plans are available for all products ordered.
HOW & WHEN DO I GET MY PRODUCTS?
It depends. Your ordering session takes place no more than 3 weeks after your photo shoot. If you come in for an in person ordering session, some products are available that day.

Some of the larger custom wall art will depend on manufacturing and delivery times my suppliers have. I will be sure to let you know how long the wait will be.

As for pickups don't worry about it. Your precious art will be delivered to your home with the utmost care. For and additional fee, it can even be installed for you.
CAN I JUST HAVE THE DIGITALS?
Yes, you can have a web sized digital of any image you'd like. The cost of each is the same as the cost of a 7x10 matted and mounted print.

Additionally, you will receive a digital copy of any sized physical print you purchase.
IF I'M NOT GETTING THE PRINT, WHY DOES A DIGITAL COST SO MUCH?
No matter if you purchase a print or just a digital it takes the same time and artistic skill to produce a professional grade image. The price of the ink and paper mattes very little to the value of the artwork produced.

The reason for the print is so that you may enjoy what you've paid for. There are many people who intend to print out the images on their computers and yet they never do. Times change and then the equipment becomes outdated and now you've lost those pictures.

I want you to have portraits you can enjoy and pass down to your grandchildren. This is why I've taken great care in selection how they are produced and stored.
